Senior Operations Manager - Catalog Operations Team

The Catalog Team forms the foundation of the StubHub consumer experience and is at the heart of our mission, to connect people with unforgettable experiences. The team is responsible for sourcing and categorizing data as part of the ingestion process, efficiently and meaningfully storing ever-growing stream of data and finally exposing the data to the end-user through comprehensive set of scalable and intuitive interfaces. At a foundational level, Catalog Team aspires to act as an innovation engine for downstream teams - powering the enrichment of experiences on front-end within Consumer Experience, enabling innovative strategies for Customer Service and facilitating more relevant ads for Performance Marketing. Finally, as the source for all visual assets (images, maps, view from seat), Catalog has a pivotal role in changing the look and feel of StubHub’s website, serving millions of users a month with engaging visual assets.
We are seeking for a Senior Operations Manager to enable our mission of effective scaling and continuous improvement of our operational excellence at StubHub. You will be responsible for leading and cultivating a world-class operations team. You will drive the strategy for the operations roadmap and data accuracy in close collaboration with key partners with a pragmatic, performance-focused approach. You will also be expected to make hands-on contributions, bringing your best-in-class operational skills to the table.
This Full-Time position may require weekend, holiday, daytime, and/or evening hours.
This role will begin as in-office 5 days per week for the first 3-6 months and then will shift to in-office 3 days per week to ensure cross-functional collaboration.
What You'll Do:
- Manage, coach and lead a distributed team of operation and data specialists
- Drive team’s effectiveness, ensuring the execution of operational roadmap and hitting performance benchmarks
- Hire and build the team both domestically and globally, including mapping the compensation and incentive strategies for the team
- Evaluate cost/benefit analysis for different tools, strategies and going-forward plans
- Closely track key metrics and understand how these relate to business goals, including explaining changes in metrics over time and as a result of new initiatives
What You've Done:
- Operational expert who thrives in performance driven teams and environments
- Biased for action and data driven. You make informed decisions and focus on team efficiency through factual analysis of past and current performance
- You’ll have built and managed a global work force, including offshore resources
- You’re a team player and work well with your teammates, reports and cross-functional stakeholders
- A “can do” attitude
- Excellent people management skills. Experience managing a team strongly preferred
- A natural curiosity to spot, break down and resolve problems
- Experience measuring performance and refining metrics according to team goals
- Track record of building new processes and solving problems from scratch
- Have a bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience

The anticipated gross base pay range is below for this role. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base pay is one component of StubHub’s total compensation and competitive benefits package, which includes 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.

$113,250 - $176,250 USD
